When does this heavy, dragged out feeling go away? It's a big chore just to throw a load of laundry in.
I used to go and go all day long, feeling guilty if I sat for a half hour. Now I can barely drag my butt off the couch.

Hi Fredo, I just don't have the energy to do anything. I walked the dogs today and came home exhausted. I've always taken vitamins, even B12, but maybe energy just comes back gradually.
Hi Besty, I hate to say it, but for me it lasted about a month and a half. But your energy does come back, I think the key is exercise, get the blood moving always helps and it helps with the dpression as well if and when that sets in.

I used to be full of energy without the pills and after using so long I convinced myself I needed them to get some extra energy.

I took the advice of many here and started taking the B vitamins again. I take a B-Complex (with all of the B vitamins in it) and also Ginsing...it seems to help. I am starting to get my natural energy back...something I haven't had in years as before, I always depending on my Perc's to give me the needed energy to get through my days (everyday).
I was also feeling beat up like I had flu symptoms, very achey. YUCK! But within a few days, a few LONG days, that went away also. Maybe I was one of the lucky ones or maybe that's how everyone feels while trying to kick the habit in the azz (LOL), but it does get better...it really will. :)

Yeah Tracy, the B-vitamins work, I take the B-100s . ANd they make you pee bright yellow which is fun as well.
Besty, thats a good attitude to have, it just doesnt happen overnight, and it takes work.

Betsy, it does take some time but while I was waiting I exercised (which was hard some days) and took a good mulit vit in addition to a b-complex. I just discovered a new product, its comes in a little pack of strips, like those breath mint strips that dissolve on your tongue, but these are for energy. They have similar ingredients to red bull and they work pretty well.

Betsy, they have a little caffiene but theres other stuff in them like taurine I believe and some b-vitamins along with some things I dont rermember right now.

I got mine at either brooks or cvs I dont remember, the stores are next door to each other, but it says energy right on the package.

OMG you guys...I sat here reading the posts and started crying! This place is like family...people who really care about what happens to each other...this is amazing!!! I use to get these outbursts of tears while I was heavily addicted to the Perc's and I am having them now...without the Perc's! This is so great!!! I just want to hug all of you. :)
OK, the tears are subsiding a little now, LOL...and YES, the bright colored PEE!!!! LOL I laugh everytime I go potty at the color. LOL I know this sounds so crazy, but when I do see that "color", I think to myself, "look at that, all of that nasty left over drug in my system is being flushed out...and I am getting through this"! I guess it's just another way to pat myself on the back for another day without being "high". :) And ya know what? IT FEELS SO GOOD! Starting to be "clean" is almost a form of "high"...I can't believe it! I can hardly wait to see what tomorrow brings!
