I'm young and I think I have a problem with alcohol. I drink every night and when i started going to parties and getting drunk it was fun, but now its not. I get in fights with my boyfriend, BAD fights. Not physical or anything, but I hurt him worst than I hurt myself. I don't have a job because I sleep all day long to even get up and look for one. I used to take pride in myself and now I barely ever shave my legs anymore(I know to much info) but I dont know what to do. I need help, and I'm scared if I don't do something about it now, I'm gonna loose alot of great things in my life. Anyways. I need advice, please send hope to whiitegirl2220@yahoo.com

Okay have you got a old school counsellor that you know or trust who can hook you up with the appropriate counselling services in your area and also check out the Alcoholics anonymous meetings in your area and if you go find a female you can relate to
It is hard to judge what to say without an age, can you try just to take small steps towards feeling better about yourself by maybe shaving your legs or better still try and stay off the booze for awhile and then go and have a massage, facial and wax to celebrate the way you feel
I say the above because alcohol addiction wants us to have no self esteem so we drink more to cocoon our feelings in a world of alcohol believe.

I am impressed that you are aware you have a growing problem. I started drinking young and went to the pits of hell and back before I finally realised how much of a problem I actually had.
Don't let yourself go any further down. Shave your legs - heck, I have only just started shaving mine again!! I didn't give a toss about anything like that. I didn't wash my hair for years and bathed very infrequently. I never changed my clothes, and I smelt. How awful for a woman in the prime of her life to be like that.
Pull yourself out of it while you can and give yourself the love and respect you deserve. Alcohol will not give you anything but pain.

Can so relate to your post...I've got a 16 year old daughter who is following right in my footsteps, but hopefully she won't have to suffer as long as I did because the seed of recovery was planted early on...here is the Young People's AA site for California: ...http://community.acypaa.org/...I'm not sure where you live but there are Young People's AA meetings and social events all over the world.
I'm a guardian of a 14yr old whose mother is showing no improvements and still hangs out with the people who get it for her.My kid is having a hard time with it because the mother now wants her back and she doesn't want to go all i have is written permission from the father to have her.She her self has a parole officer and he said do not let her go home with her because the house she keeps going to is the house thats being watched by law enforcement.what should i do?
