Need Some Ideas

I know a woman in her early-mid 40s that has cataracts in both eyes and can barely see where she is going. There is a medical school down here that takes care of stuff like that for the homeless but they are making her wait 3 months before they can help her. The poor thing is also toothless and they willl help her with that too but it will be AFTER they take care of her eyes. I've tried googling charity organizations that might help her but can't find anything. I am either wording it wrong or there just isn't anything which I find hard to believe. Anyone have any ideas?
Ask Rae...she can find info for everything, anywhere....she's helped me out a few times...

Rae? Any ideas?
I will look into it and get back with you. LOL

Poor woman. Hopefully someone out there helps her. Three months is a long time.

Kat- Medicaid.
Danny,

I believe this woman Kat is refering to is in Florida. I know down here in Florida Medicaid isn't an option unless you have children under 18 living in your home. At least that is what I have been told by a few people that tried to apply at Children & families!

There has got to be another option. Let's see can she call the same hospital that is willing to take her 3 months from now and ask if they know anyone?

Is she is South Florida?
Kat, check your email, I sent you some information that may be of use.
