My son is weening off methadone and his legs are all shaky when he walks. Is there anything he can take for this or can you tell me what I can do to help. Is this also one of the symptoms of withdrawal from methadone? Thanks
My legs did shake a little when I walked but was worse before bedtime. I always tell people when coming off methadone eat healthy and exercise. And for the shaky legs ice packs and stretching helped. But once he gets off completely this symptom will stop, it takes some time depending on how lon g he has been on methadone and how much he has been taking.
