What should expect when I come off the Sub. ? I am taking a very low
dose, but my dr. said something about giving me darvect when I stop
the Sub. I don't understand that.
I guess my question : what was it like for you when you got off the Sub. ?

When I came of the sub the symptoms were pretty mild, I felt a little achy, runny nose very mild nothing I couldnt handle.
I just kept telling myself that if I was withdrawing from the percs I's be going through hell, so this isnt that bad.

Dont worry Marina, sounds like you got a real good doc, if some reason your bodies not ready maybe he'll wean you down from a smaller dose or maybe this medicie he's giving you will do the trick.

I think its about 5 weeks, havent been counting. Whats your dosage right now Marina and whats the doctors plan for you?

Whats the med the doc's gonna give you, I never heard of that, its not darvocet is it?

You know Marina that I am worried about how the doc wants to get you off......I hope that you get some good info from here......I don't like the darvocet part of it....

Sorry for not replying to your email and following up your threads and requests. I have not been online for days. My wife has been ill while now and this afternoon got admitted into hospital, its a big worry and I have had no time to even think about getting online. Now she is in hospital at least I know I can take a breath.
I am fine myself but must remember to keep checking myself for signs of slipping. Like today......its 11pm and I have not eaten since yesterday, I have been functioning on Pepsi and cigarettes.......I have made sure the boys are looked after and well fed but one said to me tonight "what about you dad" it made me think....Im tired, worried, hungry, stressed, anxious and need an energy boost. Add that to the fact that my wife has been given lots of narcotics and will come home with some and it is a recipe for disaster if I am not carfull.
I think typing this has been a way of collecting my thoughts and touching base...I have actually relaxed for the first time in days......Prayers will be most appreciated

I am so sorry to hear that your wife is in the hospital. I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Please try to take some care of youself too. Your family will be depending on you.....

Thanks for the thoughts but she is not better in fact she is much worse, thats why she has been addmited. Dr has told me it could get quite serious

hey paul, sorry about all your dealing with right now, especially for holidays, sounds like you have alot on your plate. most definately look after yourself as well, make sure you eat and try and rest when its possible. you always have my prayers. i will be praying for you and your family. sounds like you have some great kids there to be looking out for his dad : ) hang in there and keep your chin up. its easier to see heaven that way : ) keep us posted when you can.
