Dear All, as u all know i am starting Sub in the AM, and i am really scared, because of alot of reasons:
1) what will it be like??
2) Is it really hard to taper off??
3) Is it addicting??
4) what happens if i get a real bad injury & i need pain meds it wont help my pain, like what the hell will happen??
look all dont think i am crazy, just scared is all and i would really like it from the bottom of my heart if someone could pleassse tell me what its like??

Why didn't you ask the Dr. who prescribed this med all these questions. Just wondering.

Good luck. I have two friends who were chronic relapsers who used Sub and detoxed successfully. Keep going to your meetings, they did and are clean and sober and work the program.

Hey Mitzy good luck to you tomorrow!!! Take you list of questions and ask the doctor tomorrow and he should be able to answer all of them. If not, I am sure if you search this board and other web sites you should find more info... Best of luck to you. This is a huge step in the right direction and I am very proud of you... Rae

Mitzy, Rachel is right...meetings are a big part of it..I know that if I start to slack, my recovery looks really grim...I don't know why that is, but it just is.
