Hi everone. I've been reading posts on this board for a while now - but never got the nerve to post. I'm trying to quit taking perocet, oxycontin (sometimes) and just about anything else that has and opiate in it. I have tried to quit on my own alot of times and have, but always ended up using again. I know I need help. No one knows about this except me.
I was wondering also are there other sites it talk or chat because I've seen some people say meet me in RB or in chat in Common something - is this open for everyone because it seems like ive only seen certain people asked to go.
I know I need all the help I can get. I only have a couple of percocet left right now and hopefully will stop. Its just like I've met different group of people since I started taking pills (about 1 1/2 years) and when I stop someone always shows up from my "new group of so called friends" and I end up using again. I always say this will be the last time.
Can someone let me know about the other chat places to talk to people one on one? Thanks.
Hey and welcome to the board. As for your question, I personally do not attend any other chat groups, but know that there are many on MSN. You have to sign up for them, but that's no problem. As for the ones talked about on this site, ??????
As for the pill thing, you know that where ever we go in life there is going to be someone with pills. Thank God they do not sell them on every other corner like alcohol. I have such respect for recovering alcoholics who know their DOC is everywhere and legal. But anyway, the temptation is always going to be there for us in some form, as well. I'm not sure how to address it, but I know that, once clean, we are all going to be tested periodically. You really have to want it to do it.

Hey guys, do you have a problem posting your email address? There's no way to send invitations without one. I am in two groups and they are alot of fun and a great way to get close and get losts of support. There are many people who would be invited, but we have no way of knowing how to reach them by email. Welcome to the board Brianna.
