<sigh> My carpet is white and USED to look like yours. The Good House Keeping Committee would come lock me up if I posted a picture of my computer room. LOL
Nice room! I have my laptop in my living room (and I'm ashamed of my dingy old furniture). If I didn't have a laptop I would not spend anywhere near as much time on it.
Those are some cool git-tars!
Hawk, my husband works for the post office, he has gone up to the training facility in your town quite a few times.
I use a laptop...I love a laptop, I can't even imagine sitting a my puter now...I am actually still awaiting my life...its in a Sea Can somewhere in the South Pacific...so I have very little stuff in my house...but I will sit here or outside or of course in bed!!
yeah it's nice to be able to bring it around the house with you...I still have my waterbed (God, I hate that thing) and you really can't sit comfortably on it.
LOL...me too! Man I tell ya...we are really an exciting bunch aren't we!!! I supose I would take this way of life any day over the alternative.
Must be getting old...I remember partying was a constant option...I used to love it...now...I just have zero interest!!!
Good Lord women!!! Waterbed....no wonder you are in so much pain all the time!! I have had waterbeds and really enjoyed them....but was happy to be rid of them...mine was the real sloshy kind...first waterbed I had I got it for my birthday...I was 13...so like not to long ago...lol...they were the thing...that and tight permed hair!!
now take notice - not the nice cherry desk, or can of java patchouli air freshener, or french candle - vive la france - or the fig tree that has lights strung on it (although they were dimmed when this pic was taken), but way up there out of the sunken living room where my computer is stationed - next to the tiffany lamp is a baker's rack. just above the baker's rack that has my baby shoes and a sundry of other memorabilia hanging from it that has absolutely nothing to do with a baker's rack is a framed pic of the original song someday i'll find you featured in arch selwyn's production of humorous success - words and music by noel coward's "private lives".
it doesn't get much better than that, unless of course you own a copy of sir noel singing mad dogs and englishmen.

Mad Dogs and Englishmen
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- by Noel Coward - 1932
In tropical climes there are certain times of day When all the citizens retire to tear their clothes off and perspire. It's one of the rules that the greatest fools obey, Because the sun is much too sultry And one must avoid its ultry-violet ray. The natives grieve when the white men leave their huts, Because they're obviously, definitely nuts!
Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun, The Japanese dont care to, the Chinese wouldnt dare to, Hindus and Argentines sleep firmly from twelve to one But Englishmen detest-a siesta. In the Philippines they have lovely screens to protect you from the glare. In the Malay States, there are hats like plates which the Britishers won't wear. At twelve noon the natives swoon and no further work is done, But mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun.
It's such a surprise for the Eastern eyes to see, that though the English are effete, they're quite impervious to heat, When the white man rides every native hides in glee, Because the simple creatures hope he will impale his solar topee on a tree. It seems such a shame when the English claim the earth, They give rise to such hilarity and mirth. Ha ha ha ha hoo hoo hoo hoo hee hee hee hee ......
Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun. The toughest Burmese bandit can never understand it. In Rangoon the heat of noon is just what the natives shun, They put their Scotch or Rye down, and lie down. In a jungle town where the sun beats down to the rage of man and beast The English garb of the English sahib merely gets a bit more creased. In Bangkok at twelve o'clock they foam at the mouth and run, But mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun.
Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun. The smallest Malay rabbit deplores this foolish habit. In Hong Kong they strike a gong and fire off a noonday gun, To reprimand each inmate who's in late. In the mangrove swamps where the python romps there is peace from twelve till two. Even caribous lie around and snooze, for there's nothing else to do. In Bengal to move at all is seldom ever done, But mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun.
