O/t British Accent Vanishes

Yeah, I know I write about this trivial stuff.......why?

Because it's my pretend time.........my let me focus on a movie star time.......my I gotta ask my brother and sisters in England about this:

Minnie Driver......she's a singer........sounded like country to me.......who the heck knew and when she sang her accent vanished.

POOF............kaput........if ya closed your eyes ya'd swear she was raised up in Texas.......how does that happen..........always wondered that.

Oh haven't seen her in a movie in eons..........but she does surf........she lives in a trailer she said on the beach........that's cool.......surfs.
Bryn, she starred in The Riches, on FX and that show was pretty good. About a family of gypsies doing the rich life.

She did the american accent well there also.
She was on late night, Janet....singing ya know.....she was pretty good.
I hate when them people are soooooooo MULTItalented......no fair.

Scoosa me, ummm I ain't got cable.......so I missed that.........only person left on planet earth ain't got cable........I'd have liked to have seen her in that though..........maybe Posh will get me some cable on my tele now she's here.

Baldwins are free though tonight.........regular channell........must see.
Ya know I've noticed that everybody tends to sing in an American accent. I laughed my tits off when I saw that Pop Idol thing with Simon Cowell. This bloke came in for audition, and Simon Cowell tore strips off him for singing with an American accent. This bloke just looked at him stupid and said "I sing in an American accent, because I'm American..." Simon didn't have an answer for that one! I was pissing myself...

I've wondered about that since I first heard The Beatles - that accent can be summoned or dropped at will. Same thing with Keith Urban and his Aussie accent - *POOF* - he sounds like a down-south homeboy. Interesting...

It's a blooming British invasion again here in America.

Diff, ha, that Simon Cowell..........he's a piece of work..........don't sing in American............thre's something to all of that........has to be.

Yo, even Mick sings with a non-British accent.........Rod Stewart maybe a little more I can hear it in him.......perhaps it's like people who stutter......when the sing they lose their speech pattern.........who knows why?

Simon Cowell is worth every cent he makes dealing with Paula I tell ya.
Hey Bryn sister fish leave our Rod alone spent many a night alone with his 'Old Raincoat won't let you down' album somewhere between being 15 and 40 that man forgot to marry me - you can never trust a man. Still i got the film star.

Bryn, I think it has something to do with the rhythm of the music, which doesn't allow an accent to come thru.
I think I read that someplace. (or maybe I just made it up) don't know for sure.

Ever notice how if a person stutters in conversation, there is no stuttering in singing?? could be the same kind of thing..
