Wondering if I am hearing this correctly of the news.........
I hadnt watched much TV today, but just heard that he could be executed by hanging at any minute?? He was turned over to Iraqui Officials today. Within 24 hours at least they said.
My god, didnt know the system worked so quickly there, In the U.S. people sit on death row for life, and end up dying of old age.
Well I at least hope this brings a little peace to those he brought so much terror and pain too.
I just read he will be executed before 10 pm eastern tonight. Or 6 am local Iraqi time. Im not really a fan of the death penalty, but he deserved it. The harm he did to soo many people. Its unheard of
Capital punishment is a huge debate..we dont have it here in Canada, and i know the U.S. does..and i think a debate over right or wrong should probably stay off the board..but it really wasnt that "fast" was it? Hes been in the courtrooms and holding cells,gov. prison for some time now...

According to CNN here in Canada he was executed just after 6:00 a.m. their time ( just after 10 p.m. our time on the West Coast..)
I find it hard to believe that the people of Iraq will actually believe he is now dead..they have had to deal with years and years, decades of so much conspiracy, lies and cover ups...and body doubles of Saddam Hussein...
They are saying he looked a bit "scared" uh...yea-uh....so he should be..responsible for the genocide of millions of his country men- women children, dogs, pets, whole families killed...MILLIONS.....if theres a HELL' hes going...

I think he will only be a Martyr to the remaining rebels and wingnuts...the majority of the people there seem to feel nothing but relief at the idea of his passing.. too many people have been devastated by his dictatorship and murderous ways...
he was taken out of power 4 years ago, but only now can their people feel truly free of him...
they are dancing in the streets of Bagdad as we speak...
