..o/t..the Rain..

..I live on the 9th floor and got a good view of london from my flat..we're having a propa thunderstorm right now and it's an amazing sight watching the flashes of lightning across london and hearing the thunder claps..its quite serene..i love watching it piss down with rain (from indoors of course haha!!)..and hearing the hail stones bouncing off me windows..makes ya feel cosy and warm..sum days i used to be hanging around outside in this kinda weather and worse waiting for ages for my dealer to turn up..i know we all did at times..Robbie..
Hey I know exactly what you mean!! I love the rain...I think its kind of romantic. You know the schene's in movies where the man runs after the woman and they kiss in the rain???

I also feel dead cosy when ya hear the rain outside and ya sitting by the fire with your warm DRY clothes on...aaahhhhh
Robbie.....BOY.....OH BOY can I relate! I to remember those days waiting in the rain for what seemed like hours for "dim boys" to come through. Now I find the rain to be quite beautiful(when I am INDOORS and DRY...LOL). Nothing like chillin with good music or company or a good movie and having the rain highten the moment.....makes you greatful for what you have.....EH!?!?!? ATB!!!

I used to feel the same way about rain and storms. I loved watching them, especially night. The power generated by those storms was amazing! Then last year on July 19th a really strong storm blew through here. It was a micro burst. Fortunately nobody was home at the time, because it took a huge tree in my front yard, cracked it in half and brought it down through one of my second floor windows, through my roof and into my attic, and another part of it took out part of the next door neighbor's roof and their fence and deck. I haven't felt the same way about storms (or big trees) since!

Enjoy your storms! From what I read, you are in for some more. Frustrating for those of us trying to watch Wimbledom.

Love, Misty
Alright all...i know what yer saying bout the rain ..its dry one minute then pissing down the next...and having the school hols.the kids are goin stir crazy...so am i.Its sods law everytime ya plan go pop out its fine then it buckets down 5mins later.Thats enough bout the rain..take care all.Davey
What the heck is SODS LAW, Davey?

We got MURPHY'S LAW.....is it like that........if something can go wrong it will.

I say we post some lyrics to songs with rain in them.......kids stuck in the house when it's raining........have an art contest......give them some paper and a pencil or markers.........say draw something elaborate that takes two hours to do.........no cheating........and if it's better than mine (take two minutes for yours but anytime they look pretend you are drawing)........then say I'll give ya $5.00 bucks if you win"...........only other option tell them if they bug ya they have to clean the bathroom.

Hey, y'all got on your Wellie's? I saw a cute pair on line I love.
My loved one just texted me from London said it's teeming. So, of course a pub will keep one dry.

Yo, Serena Williams and her sister ain't liking all that rain, people.

I hate the sunny weather. Hate looking at everyone all happy and skipping round in the sun. Screeching with delight in their pools. I like a good umbrella to hide behind. Feeling the drops on my skin to equate the tears that stream down my face. Plus nobody expects a big smile and a laugh from ya when it's raining cause they ain't liking the dreary day.
