Hey there all!! My H and I will be vacationing in Santa Rosa at the end of the month, so if any of you have been there and know of some great places to eat, and fun things to do it would be absolutely wonderful if you could pass some info to me, never ever been to California, I'm soooooooooooooo excited!!! It was a surprise!!!
P.S. I know it is the major wine county!! go figure eh!!

Santa Rosa is an hour north of SanFran, I've been checking out the area, and it looks sooo nice, we will be going to SanFran as well, can't wait!!!
All is going well with the not drinking! survived the weekend, and went to a meeting, my H isn't drinking either so he is being totally supportive.

Santa Rosa is in Sonoma County. Alot of wineries there, I remember passing thru on my way home. It is a really pretty town but cant tell you too much about it. google it and you will come up with a few things.

Santa Rosa is a couple hours away from me but where I work, we do have a branch there and I have a couple friends there so I'll get some reviews for you & post them tomorrow....Beautiful country and you will love it...I try to get over that way at least once a year...the ocean is real close, so you'll have to make a trip there and go to Bodega Bay and tour....

Thanks for your post, I didn't realize the ocean was that close, I looked on the map and it looked kinda far, YA HOO, I normally do the polar bear swim on New Years Day here in the ocean (in British Columbia) but the water is freezing, so I guess I will do it in California!!! :) I googled and found a few things, but it's always so nice to hear from people who have been there!! thanks so much for taking the time to respond!!
