ok-so idid it--I actually watched it--all alone in the dark feeling silly--I rented it and hid it in my backpack from prying eyes and my familys snoopy ways--waited till the boy was asleep and put it in the dvd........it wasnt what I expected, but still made me squim a little--yes you guessed it--

anyway, I had never seen it but hearda bout it and was laways too embarrassed to rent it--anything with a title like that will get strange looks,it was really interesting--i laughed it cried(not really) and i fet ashamed and proud--oh what a world we live in--Luv you all

I went to see it with my mother and sister - it felt weird to be there with my 73 year old mom. My sister hated it, but she's weird about sex (and I can't figure out how she got that way because the other three of us sisters are big sex fans). Honestly, I'm no prude by any stretch of the imagination, but I did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Eve Unsler is very intelligent and a fine writer, but it seemed somewhat contrived and a little precious to me. Did you enjoy it?

On another note - Amity, you sound really good in your most recent posts. It seems like you've settled in to your life a bit more and are not feeling as emotionally fragile as a few months ago. How did it end with the sober house you were in? I know you were having a hard time there with the money issue and the staff changes and all. Where are you now and how are you doing?
