i always read you guys posts on the H board, cause you guys give each other great support here.
sometimes there's alot of bitching going on over on the pain pill board....i avoid it, cause i just don't like to take issues with people i have never seen.....and probably never will!!! kinda silly.....
i am 17 days clean from hydrocodone addiction. never tried to get clean once i started using....so things are starting to look up for me......getting a little better everyday.

..I used to get involved with sum of the arguments/debates myself when i first came on the site..but i realised it wasn,t good for my recovery as i used to get wound up..so i just go with the flow nowadays and support where i can and i take support from other people on here..good to read your 17 days clean..
addiction a.?..wot a thing we put ourselves thru in life..theres all so many different stories i have read on these boards about how ppl got theirselves addicted..i know sum of us have caused our own addiction..but i feel for the ones who got theirself addicted thru surgery and medical procedures..i was on heroin for 11 yrs..starting first using in 94 and i,ve only been clean 6 months just..but i stated using all kinds of drugs,drinking and pills from the age of 14..up until the age og 27..then i tried heroin..worse mistake i,ve ever done..but wots done is done..can,t turn the clock back..we can only look forward and try to stay strong regarding not using again..

i know it is different for you guys dealing with H....most of the peeps on the pain pill site really did start the deal with prescriptions and legitimate pain issues...me included.....but it got out of hand...it always does.....so yeah, 17 days...
used the meds for at least 10 years....but only got into a daily habit the last three years. i don't think i am going back though.....this has not been easy and i don't like making the same mistake twice......i like to go on and make new mistakes if i can....lol....
i am doing pretty well staying out of the dramatics......i like posting on this forum because the support is tremendous, for sure.......just overlook the rest.
you do a great job of helping others here.....you should be proud of that!!
