It dawned on me yesterday(and a few other times over the years)that my husband and i had developed a pattern of kissing goodbye.It used to be just in the morning,but now its anytime one of us leaves the house,its just automatic,.
I wondered if others do the same.WE've been married 25 years so its really become a habit more than anything(not that im taking anything away from it)i love the ritual.

My husband & I have been together for almost 18years and yes, we always kiss goodbye....we also talk during the day just to say Hi and Love you....I recently have showed him how to text so now we'll send little messages during the day to each other....
I know I'm blessed though....I married my bestfriend from years before we ever got together and today, he's still my bestfriend, no doubt about it.....

My husband and i try and call each other during the day too.Before,when i was a stay at home mom,i called waaaaaaaaaaaay too much,lol,but these days i do try and call him at least once to see how his day is going,and he calls here at home to see if ive gotten out of work yet(especially if hes bored)It is nice to have someone that close in your life.
But...him and i sure do have our share of disagreements too.~KIM

Hey Kimber here not only Mikey & I but Anne & I ALWAYS say I love you & give kisses.First because its such a healthy thing to show your family how much they mean & second...this part is sad...God Forbide something should ever happen....we need to make sure we've said that & showed that ya know?
Anne at her age & I may fight like cats & dogs but the one thing THAT ALWAYS happens is before school,after school & at nighttime it is mandatory for us to say we love each other & snuggle.Same for Mikey & I .We may fight but even if one of us walks out to cool down those words ...I love you & a kiss are always the LAST thing we do...

Since I've been in the program and working the steps, my marriage is at a different place now....I no longer feel the need to be right and there are times when the little crap used to bug me, I now can just let go....I don't know what it is but it's working and I like the peace......I think I hear Kat asking me "do you want to be right or do you want to be happy?"...LOL....
But, when it comes to sports & NASCAR, we agree to disagree and it gets fun in my house.....

The hubby comes in a kisses me goodbye every morning, whether I am up or sleeping.....I love being up ( but fake sleeping ) to catch him kiss me on the forehead. He does the same with the baby.....
We kiss though and hug all the time we are together, it is yucky the kids say. The baby doesn't much like when mommy and daddy kiss and gets right in the middle letting me know that he is hers......
Now the older girls somedays just love to sit next to me and snuggle, but mostly if I tried to hug or kiss them they run, for spite. I can still catch them, lol

My choice wasn't listed, we kiss when we both leave for work, when we come home, at the GYM, at the store, shopping, before we retire, we are just kissing fools.

Brooke Thats so sweet & I feel that the more that happens the better.Alot of times Ill be taken up dinner & Mikey will just come out & hug me.Its so sweet to know that he will show affection without SEX being the reason,Plus I feel for Anne its such a good thing for her to see.To see us Hug & cuddle & know that THATS how a relationship can be.For me its a gift I give to her & hopefully she will (after she grows up)has that kind of love.
