Hey Robbie, I love Lock Stock and Snatch. Believe it or not, I actually bought a copy of Lock Stock today, for 99p in a charity shop! One of my all time favs! Have you seen Twin Town? If not, you absolutely have to. I know half the cast. They used a lot of local folks in the making. The thing is, it's so true to life. It portrays Swansea folk down to a T. In fact, it's probably worse in real life!
And I thought that Brad Pitt did pretty good as a pikey. As an old traveller myself, I know the pikey community better than I'd like to, if you see what I mean. The bastards robbed me blind! Nicking my gas regulator from my caravan when it was minus 12 at night, together with my coat, was a pretty mean thing to do to me. The poor dog kept getting his tongue stuck to the ice that he was trying to drink, and my bed froze solid... nice, real nice! Took me two whole weeks to save up for a new regulator. Don't know how I survived! OK, talking of dogs, mine needs putting to bed.
