OMG WHAT THE FLIM FLAMMIN' HELL IS HANGING FROM THE TREE??? LOLOLOL .....Girl I would turn into Carl Lewis if I lived over there. I'm talkin' serious sprinting! I would be in the best shape of my life from running. Rotflmao!
On vacation in the Virgin Islands we were sitting under some trees by the ocean and there was a big ole Iguana (I think that's what they called it) up in the tree above me. I completely freaked out and ran and jumped in the water. Then I quickly realized that there was just as much if not more scary stuff swimmin' around in the ocean! Then I came out of the water and went to wait for everyone in the cab we had waiting for us. With no airconditioning mind you! LMAO...Oh..Balls!!! LOLOLOL
Thanks for the pic. Might I say that you are seriously brave. With the spiders and whatever the hell that thing is in the tree I don't think I can ever come visit you. lmao......

Well I don't know what happened to the photo - first it was giant sized then it was midget sized LOL.

That critter in the tree is a goanna - big lizard. He was on the ground when we came on him and he ran up the tree cause that is what they do. They are mostly harmless, way more scared of us than we are of them.
I'm really glad the photo came out actually, in reality it was hard to spot him in the tree cause he was so well camouflaged.

Quick Spider story:
Idg as you know we have a place in the desert. Well, there are tarantulas out there. When I first moved in with my other half I came trapsing (sp?) up to the door and there was one right on the doorbell. I didn't see it until I was right up on it and it jumped!!! OMG OMG Those little ballbreakers can jump!! I freaked out and went running down the street like a lunatic.
After that day we have had a pest control company come spray the house and grounds with stuff to keep all the "critters" away. lolol
P.S. Maybe that is why I am so nutty...I have been living in a toxic bubble of pest repellant for 10 years!! LOLOL

LOL Valarie too funny - I used to be aracnaphobic (sp?) myself but I'm getting better. I still hate spiders but I don't freak out as much as I used to.
Mind you we have some GIANT spiders here that do freak me out - Huntmen they are called. I saw one once as big as both my hands together and I am not kidding - I couldn't move I was so scared.
