After 2 years of being "dogless" I've decided I didnt have enough stress in my life and decided to add some.

Tom,

He's adorable. Is it a Jack Russell?

I haven't seen a picture of Tommy in 18 months. He's grown so much. He's very handsome.

I saw you post that you've decided not to work for yourself for a while. Won't that take a whole layer of worrying out of your life?

Love,
Gina
hi
that puppy looks like my fox terrier trixie,
she is now 15 yrs old! this breed can live a long life, she has never been to the vet other than for check ups and once for stitches when she cut her paw!!!!!
stress you say??? not at all, i LOVE my 3 dogs my kitty and my bunny!
Hi Tom!

You are so lucky! I have been animal less (except for husbutt) for going on 6 years now. My little one adores dogs....I am really considering it too. Kids need to grow up nurturing and loving pets...it teaches so much!

Nice to see you posting!!
Kerri, I have a beautiful Golden you can have for Kearra. You think they can ship a dog to Hawaii? My kids begged and cried for her and against my better judgement I got her for them. She's a good dog but we are all so busy with everyday things that we don't have the time to take with her like we should. I say to anyone thinking of getting a pet make sure you have the time to devote to them. What's you address Kerri? I'll pay for shipping. Her name is Misty I would like you to keep her name the same. LOL Shantel
I will take her! We have to quarantine her for a bit...but she sounds adorable. I had a husky just show up on my doostip a few months back. Kearra became so protective of him and told everyone he was her dog. It was so sweet he just followed her around and when we left the house to do errands...he was waiting for her. I eventually had to call...he had tags...the owners came, Kearra cried and cried and begged form him. They came back a few hours later with a gift for her and told her that if ever they needed an owner for him she would be the first.

She has brought many strays home...presently she has a baby gecko....that she is nursing to life after it got stuck in an aunt trap!

A pet would be the best gift I could ever give this child. However....I know the responsibility....it is like having another child...the devotion that one needs to give to a pet is huge....and I would never want to cheat it of that...I am just not sure if we have the time either.

Both my kids grew up with a cat of 12 years....and a dog....5 years....I know that our live are lacking and its because we don't have that love right now.

Anytime you want to give her to us...we will take her....LOL
Kerri, Don't say anything you can't back up. If I thought hubby wouldn't miss her she would be sealed and delivered right now along with her stuffed animals. She loves mothering her stuffed animals. Shantel
Awwweeee...thats so sweet! I am sure she would mother Kearra...more so Kearra would mother her!

Oh if I could...I woud!
Kerri, Kearra would mother her until she got into her teenage years and then it all goes down hill from there. Boys, cheerleading, friends, driving that's when the dog takes the back seat. Shantel
Yes your right! Been there done that! Bought the T-shirt and laundered it a few hundred times...lol.

However...funny when you are going through it...you just want it to end. When it ends...you find yourself missing it.

I have been missing my kids like crazy lately. I have so many day dreams of when they were smaller...and even the teenage years. I am missing my babies, the good the bad and the ugly!!!
Kerri, Let's not go there today. I am pissed at two of my girls today for trying to get over on me. I do stress tried. Not happening here. They forget I have been there done that and got the medal to show for it. However, hubby and I are starting to feel the empty nest syndrome right now. Every year we go camping on Memorial day it has been a tradition since they were babies. Now they are 23, 21 and almost 16 and have there own lives and camping with their parents is not at the top of their to do things list. Thank god I still have my son and my dog. Shantel
Oh boy can I relate! As ours got older they showed less and less interest in camping with their parents. When we did drag them along..they would spend the entire time scouring the campground for other "teens" to play with.

Usually consisted of staying up late....trying to smoke cigs...and god knows what else...hormones...racing!

Funny though I am old...but I remember being the same way...hee hee.

Having Kearra is a blessing..she keeps me on my toes...there are times when i would love a little down time. I will have that all summer..when she will spend those month in Canada.

I will miss her like crazy...but she needs to spend some time with her parents! I asked her if she wanted to go this spring break for a few weeks...she opted out. This concerns me a little.....out of sight out of mind. I will do everything in my power to ensure to that a healthy relationship is cultivated between her and her parents.

I could use a little emptyness....right around now! LOL...

Camping....sounds like fun...I love it and in Canada we did alot of that during the summer. Here in Hawaii...no need to camp.

Where are your grandbabies this weekend??
Kerri, I love camping to. I cannot wait to go this Memorial day. It just will be different without all the kids. We will however have the grandbabies to keep us busy. Speaking of the grandbabies we had them overnight last night but they had to go back home this morning I had to work and hubby had to take our son to Babe Ruth try outs. Looking forward to a quiet night. Shantel
Awww...what a cutie pie Tom. What's his/her name? Breed? Looks like a Jack, I have two..they are amazing animals, lots of energy so be prepared if that's what it is.
Its a jack. Energy, Energy, Energy, holy crap your right........................
LMAO...good luck bud, you've got your hands full. It doesn't get better when they get older either....they never calm down to the day they die. But they are the best source of laughter I have ever seen. Good thing your son is young, he'll need to be to keep up! Ours have OCD. lol
Very cute puppy, Joe!

Buy lots and lots of frisbee's and tennis balls! Dogs are the best!

Peace.

Sarah

Congrats on the new addition Tom, hes adorable. Theres nothing like a dog, especially one that you get to grow up with the way Tommy will.

I'm not sure why, but the thought of you with this hyper puppy makes me smile....

always good to see you Tom,
