Out Pt Therapy

Getting back from vacation, back to reality. My daughter has tried to contact me but I've manage to avoid her.
Since I can't convince her to go to impatient rehab ,I was wondering if any body had any luck with intensive out pt therapy..
I personally dont see it working but was wondering if sshe went if they would suggest in pt. Rehab. She told my other daughter she needs rehab but I sure that was a fleeting thought
My stepdaughter did outpatient. My two cents based solely on that 1 experience...it was the biggest waste of money. They didn't monitor her drug tests which she used fake urine to pass. She didn't go to her apts as needed so was always rescheduling. The life coach (male) took her (17 year old at the time) hiking alone and to a coffee shop twice that was down the street from her dealer. She lied to them and they never spoke to family for the truth or family therapy.

Now I'm sure it's just the place that was so terrible. Maybe your daughter will have better luck.
I dont have much faith in it either. Mostly because I don't think my kid will stick with it. Its 3 days a week for 4 hours. If you miss too many appts, They kick you out for 90 days.
I think she will go for a little bit to apease me, try to get on my good side so I'll give her something she wants. Or if I don't give her something she'll get mad and quit.
I have no faith in her. I guess its not the program.
Yes, I understand the problem. If they don't want it, it is like dragging a dead elephant! It probably won't work if you set it up and she goes for you.

I hope you enjoyed your vacation! And, are staying away as much as possible.
