Oxycontin Withdrawals

Hello everyone, Im new here and I have a question . Im on my 3rd day of staying clean from oxycontin and feeling better but I am very fatigued. I heard that robitussin helps with withdrawals , is that true?. I took 2 80's a day , sometimes more. I was also wondering
if there was any way to get prescribed methadone without going to rehab. Im 22 and dont want my dad to know im addicted or even taking pills.

I don't know much about that drug, but I wanted to
tell you have come to the right place.
It is nice to meet you !
I wasn't addicted to oxycontin, but I have been through withdrawals from hydrocodone. I've never heard of Robotussin being used to help ease the pain, but I HAVE heard that Immodium crosses the blood/brain barrier and tricks the body into thinking it's ingesting a narcotic..... How much of that is true I'm not sure, but it DOES work for the diarrhea (which, though you might think is unpleasant to talk about, probably WILL be part of your withdrawal process, so stock up).

Take a multi-vitamin twice a day, take extra B-12 vitamins, ibuprophen/motrin, hot baths, chicken broth, gatorade, something to help you sleep.... All of these can help aid recovery (going through withdrawals is like having the flu - sometimes a mild case, sometimes severe - so treat the symptoms accordingly).

Good luck
Thanks Marina and Danielle.
