MY SON HAS BEEN AN ADDICT SINCE HE WAS 18.HE WAS REAL HARD TO HANDLE AT FIRST,HE MARRIED AND HAS SOME PRECIOUS CHILDREN THAT HE ADORES.HE MANAGES TO WORK HARD AND SUPPORT HIS FAMILY ,BUT HE USES EVERY WEEK,SOMETIMED ITS WORSE THAN OTHERS.TODAY I FOUND 2 BLUE PILLS IN HIS CAR I .HE CAUGHT ME AND WAS VERY ANGRY THAT I TOOK THEM ,HE DEMANDED THEM BACK AND UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES I GAVE THEM BACK. HE LIED TO ME AGAIN SWEARING THEY BELONGED TO HIS FRIEND THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ALMOST 20 YEARS.HE HAS A PRESCRIPTION FOR SUBOXONE,BUT IM CONFIDENT THAT HE'S MISUSING THAT AS WELL.I'M AFRAID THAT HE'S GOING TO END UP LOSING HIS FAMILY LIFE AND FREEDOM

Again you'll proberly read other posts and this is your son's problem not yours. You can only do so much until he accepts his problem. Sounds harsh but it is true. In the eyes of an addicted person the drug is the friend.
