I'm new on here and have been like a sponge reading everything. My 20 yr old son is an attic and currently in rehab for 7th day. I'm not getting excited. This is the 8th rehab and maybe 10-12 sober living homes he has been in. I realized the other day that I'm as sick as him. I'm determined to get strong and stop the enabling. I'm confused because when his dad passed away I took over power of attorney so he wouldn't kill himself with the money. It's not much but enough to get nice used car and go to a trade school when he is ready.
Papa... I'm rambling but I wanted to personally thank you for all your replies to post. You've been there and that's what we need.
