Hey Now
I believe it was Jazwan- but it just as easily been any one of you guys, who mentioned that maybe I need some inspiration - something to inspire me> to find something Im a little passionate about to get me through times when Im feeling a bit dark. Yeah to deal with my job these days requires more outlets. If Im not going to leave that place I need more outlets that can take my mind far away when Im not there- and all I ever had were drug outlets.
Well- I went up to the attic and found and dusted off one of my old guitars (I found one that never made it to a pawn shop)- Man ,Im a bit rusty ,and my fingers dont act like they used to, but I had a good ol time strumming while a friend of mine was really playing and singing yesterday.
I dont know about getting passionate ,but it was fun and I think its something Ill keep at ( once again)
Also ,this idea of painting- - I think that's a good idea too. I always wanted to ,and I think I have enough creativity left in my head to have a good time with it.
Hell, I,ve been down the creative and political writing path - that can be frustrating when a long voids of thought and creativity hits ya.
It was a year before I even got a letter to the editor of the Boston Globe published- and that wasCOMPLIMENTING thier subway system -compared to NY.(That was a million years ago)
Anyway ,this weekend I skipped a fishing trip with my brother (which might have been fun) but the drinking that goes on, is way out of hand on those boats- & I didnt feel into it. Therefore ,today Im off to the hobby shop to pick up some beginners stuff to get into the painting scene. I have no idea where to start but I figure something will come to me.
Ist I have to get tires and the brakes fixed so its not all good. Oh and there's the damn laundry. - Better get movin- Thanks for the support -

Jack, That's one of the most inspiring posts I ever read......that is so great you picked up the guitar again.........meant to be it never was in the pawn shop....good energy and all that.
Painting now that's truly inspiring as well........I hope ya get as much as ya can to start out........happy hobby shopping.........don't pick up any models while you are there......them things only lead to stress.......I remember my dad eventually busting up some tank or rocket ship after a day of hard work......fun little thing he did with the boys........crunch, crash.
Happy day to ya Jack.......I'm really glad for ya........now you must have your lady love be your muse.......and paint away.......besides Davey and his making such a wonderful time for his upcoming trip......you got me inspired.
