I'm alive and kicking, just have not been around very much lately. I will let DeNae, Gina and Kat know that you asked about them. They are doing well too.
I saw your post and wanted to tell you how proud I am of you for taking action. We only get one chance at life, so we have to do whatever it takes and make the most of the one we have. Your young Jodi, and life has so much to offer you. There is happiness out there, you just have to reach out and grab it. When I first quit and felt like total s***, I kept telling myself that I refuse to live my life this way. I don't want to be 60 years old and say "damn, I really f***ed my life up" and live with a list of regrets. I want to say "damn, those were the best years of my life", and be proud of what I accomplished and did! You can do it Jodi, there is ABSOLUTELY no reason you can't. One day at a time.

i am feeling 100 percent better after finishing the antibiotic, i have a script for chantix, but i will have to save up so i can purchase it as my ins wont pay for it! how are you feeling? julie

yeah, that chantix is expensive. my insurance won't pay either. but, if i quit smoking...and just do the chantix, i will be saving money in the long run based on how much i smoke...not to mention what i will hopefully save in health care costs.
i finished my antibiotic too....just a headache that seems to linger, and my stomach is still not "tip top"...but i am definitely better.
i went out for 3 hours yesterday, and it put my butt down, so i am still not "energized". unfortunately, several people i know are now sick with the same dang thing....
i am feeling optimistic about today...i have things i need to get done!
