hi my husband is trying to withdraw from norcro today is frist day and he has been in bed all day.Our preacher asked him to preach tommrow evening I just dont know how that will work. We both use norco but he wants to withdraw frist he says one of us has to take care of the family,What do I give him or what can I do to help him.

dear jet, there is a thread that is labeled otc medications, you probaly will have to browse back, but you should find some things that might help.i used motrin,benadryl and dramimine.hang in there.kimber:)

I will be happy to help you find a suboxone doctor in your area. I read your last post earlier and meant to respond. I got busy with my children. Anyway, it's good to see you and your husband are trying to get clean.. I have been through a couple hydro withdrawls and it is no fun that's for sure. It doesn't last forever though. Did your husband just stop taking them at 12 pills a day?? Did he try and wean down a little first? Have you gone to the drug store and got him anything OTC to help him get more comfortable? I swear by Comtrex flu it really helped me and many others I know... Also Immodium AD,Motrin,Vitamins and B-12. Try having him eat some banana's and pottassium pills for restless legs..Hot Hot bathes will help some to and walking.. Have him drink a few glasses of water a day and eat small meals...

hi, i'm not sure if rae is around but i can help you, immodium ad is an anti-diareah and helps with stomach cramps as well, i would definately get vitamin b 12 sublingual if you can find them. sublingual means it dissolves under the tongue. if not that kind then just get regular b 12, also potassium for restless leg syndrom and a good multi vitimin. amino acids are great as well. i also drank lots of propel fitness water made by gator ade. it has vitamins in the water as well. plus keeps you hydrated. i hope that has helped some.

Just got home and saw your message. If your husband is sleeping then I would just let him sleep. Most people have insomnia during withdrawls and have a very hard time finding sleep. I would suggest not giving him any more pills unless the pain becomes unbearable... Even then I would just split one in half if they are 10's and give him 5 mgs at a time.. Anyway you've got mail... hey jet, i just got back online, me and the daughter had some time together.did you receive the information on the over the counter meds?i hope that you did not feel that i left you hanging, i did not mean to, i had to suddenly get off line and go pick my daughter up,they were stranded on the side of the road broke down, and i went into mommy panic mode.:)

thank you rae,your a doll.:) i didnt actually break down, the family my daughter was with broke down and called me from her cell phone,so i went rushing out of here,to go get my baby girl.all was fine,i just worry when it comes to her,thats my job.i finally made it diry queen,with her and got the biggest icecream cone and enjoyed every lick and bite of it,we are going back tomorrow.all i did today was eat,guess im catching up...take care sweetie,kimber:)
