This is off the subject of recovery but "we" as addicts have some powerful prayers inside of us.........Please pray for the people in Asia who were victims of the recent devastation caused by the Tsunamis. During this time of peace for most of the world this horrific event brings us back to what we have to be thankful for. So please send your prayers out.......
God Bless, Rus
That's a great idea
Thank you Rus for reminding us to be thankful for our lives and to think of others. I agree with Danielle, excellent idea. It was nice of you to share it. Love you buddy, Kat
that scared me...I have a friend in the program that just moved there...he is okay...but living on an island with no evacuation route on this side really makes you think...

40,000 people estimated, lost thier lives....unimaginable, how great the suffering is there......makes you look at life in a whole new way.....and whats really important in it.........
Do you know that for some reason since that happened I cant seem to get it out of my mind.My heart breaks and I cant understand that.In a blink of an eye over 20,000 gone.I will pray....mj
LittleBeach, yeah, I thought about you when I saw that..... living on an island and not being able to get off if you absolutely have to.
When we thought the hurricane was coming here this summer, I packed my son, my niece, my sis, and my two dogs into my SUV, along with EVERY SINGLE photo album and treasured thing I own.... We drove 13 hours until we knew we were out of harm's way.
It didn't hit here, but my husband said, "Think of all of those people in Haiti and the Cayman's and places like that, where they knew the hurricane was coming but they had no where to go. They can't just get in the car and drive away to safety."
Very scary

It is so sad. I keep thinking about those poor people.
I had no wronging what so ever.
Please God help those people that have survived such a terrible and tragic lose with
mother natuer at her worse. Help them deal with
all there loses, and for the souls that are with you give them peace and your loving
support.
You know mother nature is the ONLY thing we really can't beat.Such a awesome force that alot of us take for granted.I get really afraid of certain things she throws at us because I know I am powerless to stop anything that way.My heart and prayers will continue for all those people.I can't comprehened 20,000 + in a blink of a eye.I just cant get over that....mj
