Welcome back sweetie. I am so happy to hear you are home now and doing well. I know all about wanting to break out of the hospital and go home and get in your own bed at night. Laurie, I am sooo sorry to hear of your ordeal. OMG! That had to be painful and maddening. Glad you're home and doing the right stuff about the pills. I sometimes worry that I will be in your shoes,,,,,,get sick, need pills. Oh, what will I do? It's ashamed we got ourselves into this mess, huh?
Like Redd said, though, pain pills are for pain, so use what you have to and don't feel bad about it.

thanks everyone..i feel odd not doing anything all day. I am used to runing around like a "chicken without a head" so I guess this is good for my soul as well as my body. I shared a room with a 40 yr old lady who is dying of cancer. They came twice a day to vacuum out her lungs. Noone wanted to share the room with her.How sad. She had no visitors in the few months she was there. Truly dying alone. It put alot of things in perspective for me. There is a reason I was put in that room with her and I am appreciative for another life lesson. Seems they just keep on coming!
