Everything you need you already have. You are complete right now, you are a whole, total person, not an apprentice person on the way to someplace else. Your completeness must be understood by you and experienced in your thoughts as your own personal reality.

Hmm. What a thought, being already complete. Sometimes I will get going through life thinking once I get this I am complete. Once I have a boyfriend or a husband. Once I have this degree or that certification. Once I buy a house or other things that I expect myself to do or be. I am complete right now. I have much to share with others. I am begining to understand the completeness is in the mind. This is more of an affirmation just for today I will understand I am complete right now.

For me, learning to love myself again and being able to just be still and be with God has given me the completeness...I no longer need somebody else's confirmations or material things or chemicals to fill the void....there are moments and times, when that seems to drift away and I have feelings of lacking something but thank God, I know when it's happening and know the answer to getting it back...Prayer is a powerful tool in my recovery....
Amen...and for me, I don't want to waste anymore time searching for something that I already have...today, I want to enjoy the moments....

It's so hard to pick apart what I need from what I want. I try to cultivate a sense of abundance -- then hording and grasping (and retail therapy, lol) become unnecessary.
