I HIGHLY recommend getting to know about this for all families of addicts and addicts themselves. My husband, a recovering alcoholic and crack addict, said if he had known about all that his first time around in rehab, it may have prevented him relapsing.

We have both gone over and over all the "PAWS" info so we can be prepared for all the symptoms. My husbands flare up mostly around 30 day marks. (He has 113 days today). But sometimes in between. It is so much better knowing what to expect and when to expect so we can be better prepared to handle it! This is the best way, I think, of preventing relapse.

We had several posts about this on the family board a few weeks back. Good stuff...
