Progress Not Perfection

I've heard this term mentioned alot but never really took it in.
Today I really got it. What a great saying!
I felt my life depended on being perfect and all my life flayed myself every time I was selfish or lacking in friendliness or kindness and whenever I made a mistake.

I was in denial of the fact I was human.

Progress for me was recognising that reality.
i believe that perfection is destructive, idont believe i will ever meet a truly fulfilled "perfectionist" glad you got it lacey its a trait im working on diminishing
That's right no human being is perfect. Fantastic, that so many of us are giving in and accepting reality. Sure takes a lot of pressure off. I can feel the release of that burden.and unnecessary stress.

Kinda like teapot at it's boiling point. Then after you have a lovely cup of tasty and satisfying tea to drink.
As long as you're putting one foot in front of the other Lacey it will always be progress. Have a great day. :-)
