I am having some really bad anxiety because I am no longer taking percocet. I was wondering if Klonopin would help me. I have a few Xanax left but after those are gone I was wondering if the Klonopin will help relieve the anxiety? Don't worry I am not addicted to Xanax, they actually make me sleepy. Giving up my pain pills is not easy...
GHF - I bet you said that Percocets made you high at one point....
I can tell you horror stories beyond belief about Klonopin and Xanax...way worse than pain pills. Stand clear of those suckers.
An alternative...
If you want to sleep, take Benadryl. If you want to relax, take a walk or drink warm milk, tea...take a bath. Lots of homeopathic remedies out there...

GHF, yes the klonopin will help but you have to be careful, I would only use them if absolutley necessary and for only 4-5 days.
GHF - JD is right. Or, try a Clonidine patch?

I agree You can use the xanax or the klonipin but be very careful, If you have anyone that you can have administer them to you that would be good. Benzo's are totall monster's to get hooked on! They do help with detoxing, that's what they give in most rehab's for opioid withdraw's but be careful. Just take it easy,Try hot bath's sleepy time tea with honey, Bendryl for sleep, muscle relaxer's if you have any. And most important One Day At A Time!
