I hope you are all doing well. I am close to 4 months of not "using". I am on Suboxene and tapering with my Dr.'s supervision. I peaked at 20mg a day, and I am currently on almost 8mg a day. I have been on Suboxene for almost 4months. I am wondering if this is "normal" w/d symptoms from Suboxene, or a flu. I feel very tired. I am sneezing a little, yawning and having headaches. I am just wondering if the exhaustion will pass. I am currently tapering 2mg every 2 weeks. Should I expect this after each taper? Do these symptoms continue, or pass after a few days? I know that each person is different, but also heard, less is better. My head seems to be more "clear", is this also true with a lower dose. My Dr. has been dispensing Suboxene for less than a year, so I am not sure if he has had enough experience to tell me what to expect. I attend AA Meetings and see a counselor. I am also tapering off of 1 Valium at night right now I am on 3/4 vs. 1 tablet), but that has only been a few days. I am also being supervised with that tapering. I don't know much about Sub, Tami, but I do know that it's dangerous to take with any kind of benzo. Did your dr talk to you about that? Please be careful, darlin.

B wishes when you get to 6 mg I would drop 1 mg aweek until you get to 2mg then .5 every 2 weeks until off.
Regarding valium if it helps you with anxiety take it.
People overreact to benzo and sub. my sub doctor allows me to take 1mg of klonopin if I really started having panic attacks. Has not been needed yet and I have gone through 8 month weaning the first time and now am in the midst of cutting again down to 4 mg from 8
But that was after building up must trust. Counting pills drug tests weekly etc.
If you abuse the benzos and the sub you could have a problem. If you do not need the valium get off it. It will not kill you.
Benzo's should be used ONLYif needed and under strict guidelines or your looking for trouble.

Within 2 weeks I was amazed as no more zanax and no klonopin.

Hello, Thank you so much for the advice My Dr. does know I am on 1 Valium at night. I am currently on 3/4 of one, and on monday, down to 1/ 2 of one.. I have taken one per night for years, because of back problems and needing to get into a deep sleep when in bed. My muscles have to rest.. Thank you for the response; I can't believe it, it in about 2 weeks, I will be tapered to less than 6mg and will takin 1/4 or Valium. Thanks for the information. I am sure I will be postingl

Are you beginning a taper off of Suboxene? I think I read you are tapering. I think my Dr. also charged me around $1200.00? But that was for my entire treatment program. I think he charges a flat fee per patient. I am currently tapered to 6mg a day of Suboxene. I am also tapering off of Valium, and now taking 1/2 tablet per night. My Dr. has been supervising all of the tapers. He advised me to lower to 4mg quickly at 2mg a week now, then it will be 1 mg a week. He is leaving it too me and how I am doing. I can see him at any time. I am so tired today, and I feel so "weird", off and on. My heart is racing, I feel very agitated. I hope this wears off soon. I am not use to this. I know it could be worse. I also decided to quit smoking. It has been 3 days. I hope you are doing good. I was going to wait until after the holidays, but oh well lolol. Have a great night.
