Just a quick question, does withdrawals get worse everytime? My now ex bf went cold turkey at home before and was clean 18months, he then went to use again, he cold turkey yet again and was clean 3month, he used again and didn even stay clean 4days this time. He says its too hard... His nw 1day clean and tryin to get into rehab... Says he can't do it... Does it get. Worse each it? The detoxs in this blog is over 3years, bt his been on heroin for a total of 10years

Until your boyfriend decided once and for all that he wants to stop being addicted to opiates there is NOTHING you can do. It sounds like he gets tired of the rat race that is addiction but until he is really in truly fed up with his addiction and is willing to do whatever it takes to stay clean his journey is not finished.
My advice to you is to go to alanon or narconon meetings to help yourself and also go to the family/Partner board here to talk to others in the same boat as yourself. It is a great place for support.
