I for one appreciate you pointing these types of things out. I don't keep up with dates too much except for my own.
When someone is lying I like to know about it personally.

Rae you aren't alone in your feelings (coming out of the closet with this one). Unfortunately Pants is not here to defend herself, so some of her friends have popped in to do so.
Can't we defend someone without taunting the person who has pointed out inconsistencies? This trash talk has got to stop somewhere.
I also used to do my fair share of rolling my eyes.
Oh and let me add that when I first saw the 18 months post I could have sworn that she had over two years...
but being clean is the most important part

I thought she had 2 years or more too.
I hope she comes back to the board when she can. I liked her a lot, but I think some dates are getting screwy,.
But like Janet and Rae said, as long as she is clean for today, that's what really matters.

Thank God!! I have always seen these inconsistencies and believe me bit my lip more than a few times....cooking pies and full course meals for the elderly neighbors...painting...drawing..dancing...sewing...singing and guitar...uuuhhh believe you me....I couldn't bear to read those posts...I don't think that there was anything that had not been done and perfected. I have met a few kids like this...inferiority complex perhaps...not sure..sometimes I even wondered if she was an addict!!

Though no one wants be blatantly lied to,
or have one pretend to be something completely different then they are,
to mix up ones clean dates if you are NOT in the program is completely understandable because...those NOT in the program do not always count them, do not get tags or keychains for anniversary dates etc...
I have no idea just how long I have since i stopped..i've said many times here that for me, it just gives the pills way too much power over me, something they had for far too long..
Im sure if she was here, she would be able to answer to the discrepancies, but she's not...
As many know however, I had a PERCEIVED inconsistency pointed out to me here recently, and regrdless of the fact I explained myself, and it was an obvious misunderstanding on the accusers part, my response went vitrually ignored, and in fact posts continued calling me a liar, " walk like a duck" statements etc.
I know how many times i went to a meeting, and I sure do not need someone that i havent spoken to in almost a year, tell me otherwise...
It concerns me that the air of late has been that posters here are liars, that posters here are purposely misleading others, and not posting honestly.
Lets give her a chance to come here and at least explain the differences in time - although even if this is easily explainable, there are some here that will have their mind made up and will not only sit in judgement, but try to share their view with any and all that will listen..
Thats toxic, its bad for the board, bad for all of us that are trying to stay healthy, and adds nothing but negativity and stress to a place that should be a safe haven for those that need to talk...
