R&r Relationships And Recovery

So my boyfriend has been in recovery for 18 days and has 15 days left. I need someone to answer a question and so I can plan for the worst. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 8 months now and he just went into rehab right before our 8 months and I was wondering what they are going to tell him about being in a relationship with me. He is a old soul basically meaning it took 7 months to even tell me he loves me I am 24 and he is 23 I am in love with the kid and same goes for him. So basically what I am asking is what are they going to tell him about us and how do I avoid the worst case scenario? Help me to help a young couple to stay together ....please I am at the last of my resources!!!!
Please contact me as soon as possible 15 days left and counting...

Daniel, generally a new relationship is frowned on during recovery, but an existing relationship will be worked through with a counselor and the significant other, if that's what the patient wants. I have to say, just seeing the personal pics you posted on your very first post, without knowing anyone here, or anything about us, tells me you have issues with setting appropriate boundaries. He has a right to have his privacy respected and may not be all that psyched to have his face plastered on an addiction website. Boundaries are an issue for many people involved with addicts, be they parents, siblings, lovers, or whatever. You should take a little time to look at your own feelings and not worry so much about his until he can be there beside you. This relationship could be a very rough road as recovery requires a degree of self-centeredness and self-focus, rather than other-focus, or relationship-focus.
