Bless you Mark for asking about him. Well, he was really poorly this time last week coz he had a violent reaction to the medicine he had been given for his joints. I stopped giving him the medication, and after a couple of days he picked up again. But this morning he was all stiff and in pain again, so I went back to the vets and he's trying a different medication now. I have given him a dose, and he seems to be feeling a bit better coz he's woofing at the door for a walk. He goes back to the vets on the 23rd for a check to see if the medication is working, and if he seems OK then we'll just plod on with the tablets, but if not, he'll probably have to go in for x-rays and stuff. But he's gonna be over the moon soon, coz I've got my own house now, and I just have to wait for the builders to finish putting an new kitchen and bathroom in, and I can have the keys, and me and Bill will be back together again. In our own place. At the moment he's being forced to live in an outdoor kennel, coz I don't have my own place, and my b/f doesn't like dogs in the house. He does have heat and light, and its quite snug, and he has the run of the garden during the day. But he wants to be with mammy. He's so contented when he's lying at my feet watching TV with me. It will all happen soon, but not soon enough if you ask me. I've been patient this long, I only have to wait a week or two now.

Really pleased about your new house and I am glad the dog is getting his woof back, jesus we are all screwed up on tablets even the bloody dog and whats all this crap about the b/f not liking dogs? Make him sleep outside! Hope all goes well for you and your pooch. God bless you Diff (if there is a God) but I no longer have anyone else to bloody pray to. When you get your new place sorted get the dog a treat its on Marky Mark (perhaps a pair of your b/f favourite socks to chew) Only joking take care of yourself and the mutt. Going down with the Subbies next week wish me luck duck.

glad he's doing better. That sucks your bf don't like dogs. Great news your getting your own place that always makes things nicer. Maybe when the bf's not around you can have the pooch in the house.

I think we should all petition to let Diffs dog into the house and shame her boyfriend into letting the dog inside the house! Infact I think it should be allowed on the bed and sofa. Lol

Hi guys, bad news about the big fella I'm afraid. he's had another reaction to the new drugs he was prescribed, and the vet said that there was nothing else they could give him coz if he reacted to those two then he's sure to react to all the others available. So all that we can do now is get him in for X.rays and see what kind of state his joints are in, to give him some sort of prognosis. But the vet warned me that his outlook is a bit bleak now.

So that's that. Hopefully when he's in the house with me he'll be a bit better.

I love the bones of that dog, I really do. He was such a good boy at the vets today. Such a sweetheart. My little guardian angel.
