ConAgra Foods Inc. told consumers to discard certain jars of Peter Pan and Great Value peanut butter after the spread was linked to a salmonella outbreak that has sickened almost 300 people nationwide.
Lids of jars with a product code beginning "2111" can be returned to ConAgra for a refund, the company said.
I just tossed 4 jars of this.

How long are ya going to be there Pam? All my relatives are in Pensacola and i"m going to visit soon. I know that place like the back of my hand.
I think everyone who has the peanut butter has the 2111...... number my mom had it and it was also almost empty. Yikes I think we mad Christmas cookies with it

Hey Sammy and Stacey, sorry that I didn't get back up with you gals last night. I went out for my smoke break and then when I got back inside it was time for my AA meeting.
Sammy, I don't have email service here but I will try to get up with you whenever I go home next weekend, that is if I can find a ride back over to Defuniak from here. If not, I'll see what I else I can do to contact you. Thank you for your kind words and I think "The Rehab Resort" would be a wonderful name for your community. Heck, I might need to relocate whenever I complete the program here, so save me a space...

My councelor told me that I could go home in 30 days but I really don't think that I will be ready to go that soon. Plus, I still have no electricity or water on in my home and of course nothing has been cleaned up there either and I mean that house is a wreck. Aaaarrrggghhh, I hope that I can find someone to help me with the clean up and with the utilities...If not, I may never go home. Really, I would love for you to come over and see me when you come to visit your family. I gotta tell you, it is freezing cold here right now though. Visitation Hours: Saturday 6:30-7:30 and Sunday 1:30-4:30
