I wanted to share a poem that I wrote with all of you.. I hope you enjoy it..

Recovery

How can you say goodbye to someone that you cared for;
To make them understand that your not comfortable anymore.
To tell them you don't love them or want them in your life,
To tell them that this life together is just not right.

I've waited all this time to see if it would change it's course,
but instead of getting better it seems it just got worse.
I thought this was a faze, and soon it would just pass,
but in my heart I know it's not and this just cannot last.

I know our life together, and it is tearing me apart,
I am living with a stranger, and it seems so very dark.
No longer do I want to share the little things in life,
Everyday I see my face and wonder, what happened to my life.

Some where it seems things began to change from what it use to be,
and along the way I lost myself, and refused to really see.
But I can try to make it back to what life was like before you where there,
and I will find myself again and start again to care...

Dear Paula,
