I posted you on another thread and it's just an energy drink it is not going to hurt you. I think they are nasty...I drank one the other day and I didn't have any energy from it just thought I would throw up. If you want energy exercise girl. Take B-12 and vitamins and drink some V-8...

I heard a rumor, that its ingredient (Taurine) is bull urine, can't say I believe it though.
red bull is just a real hi powered drink with lots of vitamins and minerals.
an overcharged gatorade, kicked up about 10 notches...
taurine is also found in tea...
have no clue if you have food restritions on sub.

Red Bull has 100mg of caffeine in it, the same as in a cup of coffee.
What gives it the kick is the Taurine...... the vitamins, amino acids, and minerals in it combined with the caffeine give you that boost.
I've been drinking it for years and the only bad thing is that it sometimes gives me a panic attack.....
The only bad thing I've heard about Red Bull (and I've read lots of studies on it) is that mixing it with alcohol can be dangerous - it can make it where you drink more than you normally do... The "upper" in it can make you not feel as drunk and you consume more alcohol, increasing the risk for alcohol poisoning.
Yes, you can drink it with the sub... I wouldn't have a case of it, but drinking one or two would be like drinking espresso on the sub...

Thank you I just wanted to try it to see if it helps the fatiqued(sp) feeling.I don't drink so thats not a problem though I'm not keen on drinking bull pee....mj

I grew up in Dayton Ohio and it was opo all my life til I moved to Florida 11 years ago and now it's soda. Well I don't order a soda I just saw whatever I want and maily that is Dr. Pepper. I am a Dr.Pepper freak. It's funny cause if I ask my kids if they want a pop they think I am talking about a popcicle..
Same thing with tennis shoes and gym shoes. Up north it was gym shoes... Down here my kids have P.E and in Ohio we had gym. I know all you southern People are thinking I don't give a damn how you did it up north,LOL You know how many bumper stickers here in Florida that say that? Tons. Rae

thats cute rae, yeah i understand. does seem like us northerners have are own way on certain things. we have vernors here which is a brand name for ginger ale. but we call all ginger ale verners. lol i was in florida on vacation looking high and low for a verners. hehehe

I'm in Canada where it has never been called soda - always pop. We find it funny. We even used to have what you called the Pop Shoppe where all you could get there was pop. You could get whatever flavour pop you wanted and they came in bottles with non-fizz stoppers on them and then you would return your bottles to recycle and pick up more pop when you were out.
I don't know what happened to them, but they are not around anymore.

Boo......when we used to visit in Michigan, we would come home with cases of Verners for my mom. She has actually been able to find it at some stores here in the south recently. As kids, we thought she was crazy for having to have "her Verners". lol
mickey i seem to remember my grandma buying pop like that i cant remember the brand name. but it came in all flavors. it came in wooden crates. and she had them stacked in her basement. what a cool memory of that. thanks

Down here we only have the vanilla kind it's gross. I miss Mike Sells's potatoe chips and Cassano's-Sp? pizza too... I remember Verner's too...
