Hi ladies,

Thanks for the send out, I haven't been around here much either but when I do pop in its always nice to see familiar names. Both of you mean so much to me. I hope you're doing well.

We're in the middle of an ice storm here right now, the streets are a skating rink so its a stay at home Sunday with a crock pot dinner cooking. Plus the Oscars are on tonight. I hope The Departed gets best picture.

Of all the matters that get discussed here, yours is one that breaks my heart and I cant begin to express my sympathy. Just continue seeking the things that work for you. Closure comes in heaven, but while on earth you can find peace with it. I think in time God will show you the whys for all of this. He has already given you a beautiful family to continue life on earth.

Sure you do, Amy. Even if you can't see it yourself right now, I'm certain Chance can -- though you might feel like it's a false light some days. If you'll come around here more often, we'll reflect you back to yourself until you can see your own light again. All you've ever done is be loving to people here. Let us give back to you now, though it can't come close to what you have lost.

I have your email and, with your implied permission, will begin to use it. Feel free to tell me to back off. I know there are a bunch of anniversaries coming up, probably every day. Amy, letting go the pain (when you are ready) doesn't mean you've stopped loving -- it just means accepting it can't be this time last year anymore. I wish it could be, for even five minutes. I really do.
