I have noticed that there are many Christians here. I embrace all Religions. I was wondering if there were any Wiccans on this board? Sorry to be so forward about this, I was just curious about it.....

I would still like to be able to be here mainly... I was just curious as to what crowd was here... as I said.. I embrace all Religions... so it doesn't really matter to me what anyone is... I was curious more than anything. Thanks again for the link!
I dont practice any religion but lean toward paganism myself. I worship nature and her mysteries and a God of my understanding.
I recall that there have been Wiccans here before, just post Wiccan in a title and people will respond. Since I've been here, nobody has ever brought religion into a converstion with me so I think you'll find that it's a non-issue. In my opinion, the people on this site are completely non-judgemental as far as religion goes and you're in a good place for that. I'm not Christian and I've never had an issue here. Take care.

I follow buddhism and taoism, myself. To be honest there is not a whole lot of difference between buddhism, taoism and Wiccanism---all have reverance for nature. I am a nature-lover myself.

Hi again Tired... dont feel outta place here... i think there are some Wiccans here as well. I may be mistaken but i think that she wolf is. I haven't seen her lately though. I study Buddhism but i also believe there is a God... very hard for me to explain as many Buddhists do not believe in God... but i have my own theories that are probably too controversial for this board...lol! Anyhow... the program i follow states we must be willing to turn our lives and our will over to a "higher power" and as far as i am concerned nature counts... :) Love, Bri :)
blah, I wish it would heal too... it is a messed up place in some aspects... but there are wonderful aspects too. It's all about balance.. if there were no bad, we wouldn't appreciate the good. Not to say that the balance isn't off, because I believe that it is right now.

Okay...I'll bite...just another thing to make me the most unpopular person d'jour...lol
My mother is a wiccan and i was raised to respect all religion.My husband is catholic...and i do go to services with him..
I have the family "book" of spells etc...In fact used to have a website called
"Wiccas web" but i couldnt afford to keep it running....
50% of my customers wanted spells to fix their financial problems, and I didnt have the heart to charge them...
proceeeds after covering costs went to an animal shelter, but it wasnt making enough money, so stopped it about 3 years ago...
Most people think that wiccans are witches that cast bad spells on people.
Funny how many dont truly know about wicca...
If we all lived by the Wiccans Credo of ' Love and harm none" what a better world we would live in.
Spells do work, very often just by the intent by they are cast..and right now..the full moon...great time for reflection spells...lolol

Thanks for posting to this Ali. I dont know you (although someone thinks I am you... sheesh). I will not judge you... I dont judge anyone unless they give me reason (such as attacking someone). I agree, but you will notice that most Religions follow the same basic tenants of belief. My husband is Pagan inclined but not Christian, and I am raising my kids Wiccan. I was raised Catholic, and my parents are very accepting of our Religious choices. Thanks again. :)

I just dont get anyone who says they are working a program that is based on the 12 steps, and yet judges other addicts, calls into question, their motives and character, and constantly accuses people of being sneaky....
Know that most who work their steps are NOT like that. ive come to really respect the program and those who WORK the steps, dont just SAY they do..
Wicca is a beautiful religion, and so misunderstood...
