Im new here and i just read your message. She sounds like a good kid just taking her fun to a dangerous level. Good thing this happened and i bet you don't have many more incidents like this. I bet you are so relieved. Just wanted to let you know this because i did this to my parents as a kid and besides for my misuse of meds that i am taking control of i think my mom is pretty happy with my outcome. She is my best friend and a super grandma! Good luck
Thanks for the msg. She is a good kid but has admitted she loves to drink, she loves to check out...the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Both my ex-husband and I are clean and sober now (at least I am....can't say for sure about him) - but she knows where it can take you....so I'm trying to model good sober behavior for her. My oldest daughter doesn't have the "ism"...and is in her first year of college - she was a very easy kid to raise. My 15 year old is quite a challenge, but we will get through it ~ thank God I am sober today.
