Mike Starr dies most likely from addiction
I say most likely because it hasn't been confirmed yet but it will be. His DOC was Heroin but not limited to. I sorta took an interest in his recovery when I watched him on Celeb. Rehab. and I felt as if he felt that he was a hopeless cause. I feel for some,addiction is not the demon that it is for others.When Mike left Sober House, I could tell that he was one of those that addiction was almost going to be impossible for him to overcome. NOTE: I said almost impossible. I sorta kept track of his progress, well as much as I wanted anyway and thought he was heading for this kind of ending. Then I saw a tape and he was with T Sizemore and M Phillips, when they returned to C.Rehab and spoke to others, and thought WOW, Mike looks great and seems to be a much happier person than he was. He claimed to have 6mos. clean time and I was very happy for him and was pulling for him to stay well. See, Ive never made it 2mos. and seeing that gave me hope that I too, could beat Heroin and if I just gave it time the Physical and Mental anguish would eventually go away and I could eventually be happy again. I didnt know Mike and had never met him but this news has really shaken me. Id bet that if he could, Mike would tell about how happy he finally is. For some ,it seems its the only way out. Heroin has ruined me.
Heartbreaking...I remember this, too. It always sends a shiver up my spine when we lose one...
