Rules For A Successfull Life

I have started gradually coming up with some basics to pass on to my 10 year old, I know G-d did it already with the 10 commandments & all, but besides that, ya know, something maybe more earthy . So far I have

1) Brush your teeth every morning

2) Don't despise the poor

3) Never trust banks or insurance companies.

Any other ideas
lol............you might want to add lawyers to the never trust anyone thing. And also the part about never leaving the house without clean underwear on......
Thanks for the laugh this morning! I really needed it.
Stay strong.........

Never leave less than a 1/4 cup of milk in the carton before you place it back in the fridge.
Always replace the toilet paper with a new roll...don't leave one teeny little piece stuck to the cardboard! lmao
the real question is do i say always leave the toilet seat up (where it needs to be 95% of the time) or put it down for the fairer ones.
teach them to put away at least 10% of their earnings starting at the earliest age possible..
but also teach them that money isn't everything...
teach them to stop and smell the roses, life goes faster than you know it...

teach them people should never be judged on their skin color because they never had a choice in that; people should be judged based on their merits and how they treat others...

teach them really young THAT IT ISN'T WHAT YOU KNOW, IT IS WHO YOU KNOW..LOL..
I'm going with leave it down. Imagine being a female in the middle of the night and in darkness falling in. It happens, lol.
i remember my first wife fell in, & i thought that it was pretty funny, she didn't see the humor in it all.
Leave the toilet seat down.
Take the 2nd newspaper in the pile, and the 2nd slice of bread from the loaf.
And, the golden rule.
and browndog, another thing, (I'm a mother of three sons) lift the lid first before keeping it down. That's just as bad during the night as falling in, maybe worse, depending on your mood. lol.
