So he just got home from work I can tell he's already been drinking. And has a 40 in his hand and another in the back of the frig that he thinks I don't see. So right there is almost two 40s almost gone and he just got off less than an hour ago. He wants to hug and kiss me, but I just grimch to myself ,cuz who wants to have a drunk all over them every night. & once again he's saying he's gonna take a shower, eat and come to bed, but I know it will be the same as every night, probably won't even shower and won't come to bed till midnight. The only time I see him sober is in the morning for 15mins at the post before he leaves for work!!! Am sooo tired of this routine, why can't he go one day without drinking
Please find an AlAnon Hotline and ask for a schedule of gatherings. You can't change him, you didn't cause it, and you cannot control it. Take care of yourself and get help from other family members that understand... You are not alone.
