Hi all,my oldest daughter lives in Cardiff aswell she is a trainee solicitor with a big firm there. When we took the youghest to the hostle down there we never told her were her sister was working and she has never had much intrest in her sisters life anyway.
Today had a call from the oldest one telling me that the youngest one had found her and had been to her office for money,Never would I have thought that she had the capability of doing that ,I am still bl***y amazed that she has, I think she can do a lot more than I can imagin.
I've got her a second interview at the rehab and will take her if she wants but I'm only taking her to the door the rest she must do her self.
Love you all thanks for being there

P.S Christina are you alright.
Dear W L There is nothing that an addict is not capable of.
My daughter called relatives with sob stories about needing money because she hadn't received money from her ex husband, while actually he was totally consistent with payments.
Of course, I found out about this after the fact.
I hope your daughter will go to the detox center. take her to the door, but give her a long hug and tell her you love her. You will feel better and it may help her.
This is a road that we have to travel at our own speed. I have always felt that what is done out of love, while it may not achieve the result we want, is the right way to go,
But that's just me. Whatever decision you make , rest easy with it.
there is always hope.

P,S I love that saying. My mother was born in Ireland, and had so many ironic and funny sayings. some were not so nice, but I love to remember them, and my family gets a big kick out of reciting them

Hi there again my Welsh friend!
The last and final time I threw my daughter out. She told my son, we'd had a BIG FALL OUT and I'd thrown her out - just like that, as you do! What she failed to mention was she'd blown her VERY FINAL chance BIG TIME by me catching her injecting..... but she WAS clean and on methodone you understand. SHE told me she was so did I believe her? I so wanted to..... Did I trust her...... did I hell.... hence I caught her.
The one thing addicts never seem to get is why nobody trusts them. She used to go absolutely ape s*** when I used to do a random search of her room, handbag, pockets, shoes, any and everywhere.... she'd be so abusive saying she couldn't believe I didn't trust her because SHE TOLD ME she was f****** clean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and.......... if I didn't believe her then there was no point in her even trying. Sound familiar?
I think you're getting it now though honey, yeh?
Thinking of you and your little girl - have faith
Luv Christina x

Dear Rita,
My mom was VERY Irish and proud of it too! She was a McDermott. The last St. Patrick's Day she was alive we had her all decked out with green jewelry (ring, bracelets, and necklaces), an Irish sweatshirt, an Irish hat, etc. She looked so cute!
Love,
Susan
