help!!!!! my sister is so addicted to any pills available that she goes to the extreme. she has stolen from family, friends, drs scripts, and stores. she has no income on which to live therefor i pay most bills including food and household items.she lives in low cost house so no rent or lite bill, but you have to have money. she costs me about 300 a month and i feel so guilty if i dont help. but.....i have my own bills and my own addictions. i take methadone, tylox and vics x strenght. i dont abuse mine but she gobbles 180 in 7 days and expects me to give her 4 a day maint. for next 3 weeks until dr visit is due. she doesnt have true pain. just wants a buzz shell never get w/ 4 or 400. how can i put my foot down and help her w/ o seeming so ugly to her. shes making me crazy w/ the greediness. every excuse has been given for why she needs a fix but ive had it. i dont even want to visit anymore. she makes me feel like my company isnt important unless its something in it for her. meds, cash toilet paper, anything. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly, tell her NO MORE!!, she needs to get into treatment, you are inableing her, and she will continue to use you as long as you allow it, please dont take this the wrong way, but i am a addict and know all to well this disease, and how it works......

Well if you don't want to feel obligated to share your pills with her than tell her you can't get anymore. Then just hide them from her. She will have to look elsewhere. Either that or just be brutely honest with her and tell her the"BUCK STOPS HERE"... She sounds like my sister. Always wanting something for nothing. My sister is a dancer with that mentality that everyone(including me)owes her something. Not all dancers are like that but she is. She is greedy and selfish. So you can just tell her 1. you don't get them anymore or 2. She ain't gettin anymore,she will have to DEAL... Not your problem. If you are taking what is prescribed to you for a legit reason she shouldn't be putting her hands on them anyway! I know you may feel guilty cause you know your sisters in pain without them but you are hurting her more in the long run. She needs help! She takes way to many pills. Good luck to you! Rae(Rachel)

thanks for the encouragement. went to drs today and got refills. told sister buck stops here today. no more extras, no excuses will help get anymore from me. 4 a day for maint. and i have to hold them for you. went thru the tear thing but ive had it and told her i dont mind saying no if you dont mind asking. i dont no how else to help her. addiction to any and all pain pills is awful. her fav is methadone which she knows i get alot of for legit pain , only problem is i cant use like im suppose to because of the sharing. she wants a buzz and i want relief.tough luv this one i guess. she just really over whelms me at times w/ her greediness. oh well got a luv her just the same. thanks again my friends.
