Social Marathon!!

Ha ha. That is exactly what today has been!!

At 10am I had to pick up a piece of glass from a guy down the road and stayed for a cup of tea and a chat. Next I saw this local lad I like and he came to mine for a couple of cups of tea. Then I went to visit an old family friend and we spent several hours in a nice country pub chatting over orange juice and soda - well, he had a couple of pints of beer, but I hardly even noticed - just glad it wasn't me!! Then I went to his house for a cup of tea and met his girlfriend. Then I went to see my niece who was 13 today and stayed for a cup of tea with my sister. Then as my mom lives round the corner I went for a cup of tea with her!! Finally got home 12 hours later!! Oh life!! What is going on with me!! Social marathons!! Brilliant!!

There was a time when conversing and just plain BEING with people was a pain-in-the-a** to me--got in the way of my drinking time. And all the time was drinking time. Good for you fitting nicely in your skin once again! It suits you...
