Man if I could ever figure out what sets my pain off?/--Got a real good night of sleep 9+ hrs and asthe day went on my pain just took over.
Had like 4 days minimal pain. My normal 20 minute walk was a 10 minute limp.
Its just really frustrating. I just may have to increase my cortisone. 2 more days then surgery. There gonna blast me with a bunch of steroids anyway.
Called my doctor 5 hrs ago. No reply yet. These guys are big shots. My sub doctor calls me within 3 0 minutes tops.She is a classy lady.
Anyway just felt like venting. Cleaning my apartment as I had both daughters this past weekend and we trashed the place.
Were all slobs at least I know there my girls.

I thought you were still taking a low dose of the subs still or is that after your surgery?I think if you are in alot of pain and considering you are having surgery this week I might call my sub dr as they really are the ones who really do care .On my bad days I take Aleve with the subs and that usually does pretty well for me.I hate you are going to have to take the dang steroids again that bites.Hoefully after you have the surgery you will have more good days than bad .I am sorry you are having a crap day .
It is truly amazing how kids can turn a house upside down its not as hard to just have to clean up after ourselves fortunately cleaning obssesively is one of my character defects that is beneficial most days.Hope you feel better

I am still on the sub--but nothing helps when the pain gets like this. I just ride it out.
I cannot take any OTC until after my surgery. Maybe the motrin was helping but I stopped the motrin 4days ago.
Had no awful pain for past 3+ days. Least I am sleeping.
It is just so depressing. Then I get pissed as I know the doctor will say raise your steroids.
During the hurricane I had no air and got sick. Had to raise them a bit and have put on a few pounds as I cheated on my diet like an a-hole rationalizing I will be to sick to eat after my surgery. That is my disease--Cunning and baffling.

I know you had the steroids with a passion and I hate that for you .Man that hurricane rocked your world didnt it.Well when all else fails and you feel like the worst crap call your kids and when you hear their voices you will feel good for atleast the amount of time you are on the phone you know?Why cant you take the motrin? That really sucks because when i combine an anti inflammatory with the subs I usually get pretty good results .

Sorry you're having a sucky day, Jeff. Don't worry about your diet. Men look good husky. Mind you that's being said by a woman who's been thin all her life and has never found thin men attractive, lol. (that excludes my youngest son who is thin like his mom)
