yikes - so my main post is accidentally on the coke forum, but i belong here too. and i have a week sober almost - and i'm so wanting to go pick up a few pillows (lorcets) just 2 or 3 for tonight. my old dealer is blowing my phone up .. it would be so easy, i'm upset with my man - he's not home ... i feel yucky. i know u guys can talk me through this. sorry for being a pain.
sorry for sounding so loopy - i'm clean, my sweet friends who have helped me - but i can't get these demon thoughts outta my head. i'm so silly. I know i'm gonna look at this post and regret it tomorrow ... lol - it's amazing how writing on this thing helps.
Skeeter....I have to run pick up dinner, but I wanted to tell you before I leave, that you can do this. Turn off the phone, get out of your head, and watch a movie, or go to sleep, or post here... anything to keep you busy. Don't let your head bulls*** you into doing anything you'll regret.

oooh how about play my piano !! i've been playing for about 16 years.... and i havent really touched it since I cleaned up. dunno why, but this song on the radio just reminded me that i play! and I'm starin it down - - yahhhh that's a good idea.

Skeeter...get out of your house and your head. Take a walk, call a friend, try a meeting. Anything to turn your thinking to something positive.
Play the tape all the way through...what will happen if you take those pills? Think that through all the way to the end.

Try and remember how horrible that was.
Do whatever - you have gotten some good suggestions here..
When I am down or just for fun, I go to a movie all by myself - kick off my shoes.
I cheat and take a grilled chicken s'wich in but I do buy a $3 water there so I don't feel guilty.
Just anything, you know what will work for you, Call some clean friends, family members, they will not steer you wrong or just get out of the house-
or keep posting, that helped me the 1st week.

you guys are truly wonderful. & once again would be SO proud ... of me! I went to a girl friend's house and we ate so much taco bell together... i'm going to pop. I just got home, but didn't make any usual stops ... i couldn't bear to come back to this message board - and admit i failed at staying clean. isn't that silly ???! but it works for me!!! i listened to some good music, and thanked God for keeping me clean. I'm celebrating one week officially tomorrow ! :) thank you thank you thank you so much for your help - you have no idea how great it feels to be honest with you guys - and be clean - and not worry about having to hook up some more tomorrow - because i know that's what using tonight would have led to .... i've been seeing my family much more this week finally - getting back to normal - it would be such a shame to go backwards again. so YES!!!! I'm still here baby!!! and I'm clean !!!

Skeeter, just read this post dear look how much support you have backing you remember you are not alone we are here please stay strong playing your piano sounds like a great idea what helped for me was reading romance and fantasy books or i would pop in a old comidie movie and i would lite a candle get a cup of herbal tea and before i knew it i had gotten so ingrossed in my book or the movie and the urge to relaps had passed and if all else fails like the others have said get out of the house and walk put on a head set and with the walking and the music it will keep your mind busy LOVE + HUGS LITTLE H.
